  1. The act of entering.

    • The wrestler's dramatic entry into the stadium was very impressive.
  2. (uncountable) Permission to enter.

    • Children are allowed entry only if accompanied by an adult.

  3. A doorway that provides a means of entering a building.

  4. (law) The act of taking possession.
